This section of the site shows information about all packages, binaries, symbols and sources stored on SymbolSource. Metadata is divided into a hierarchy of repositories, projects, versions and compilations.

Repositories
A repository is a namespace containing unique project names. At the moment, they are provided mainly for the purpose of separating NuGet and OpenWrap packages and allowing them to use their own naming convections and to avoid name clashes of projects published through both of those systems. You can also use them to assign permissions collectively or to introduce logical or business grouping of projects.
The Default repository is maintained by the SymbolSource team and contains projects published through distribution channels other than the mentioned package managers (e.g. zip files on the projects' websites).
